This study is for people with:
Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Purpose:
Treatment
The main purpose of this study is to collect blood samples from volunteers to be used in various research studies at Cydan II, Inc. (Cydan). Your blood may assist researchers in developing a new treatment for arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy also known as arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVC/D).

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
You can participate if you:
• Are between the ages of 18 and 50
• Have been diagnosed with Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) or Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia (ARVD)
You cannot participate if you:
• Are pregnant
• Have a known history of HIV, hepatitis, or other infectious diseases
• Experienced excess blood loss including blood donation defined as 250 mL in the last month or 500mL in the last two months

Do I need to have health insurance?
No. You do not need to have health insurance in order to qualify for the study. However, to participate in most studies, you will need to provide proof of your diagnosis. Even if you are not currently seeing a physician, you can still sign an authorization for Medical Record Release from your former physician that can serve as proof of diagnosis.
