Purpose:
The goal of this research is to collect whole blood from participants diagnosed with X-Linked retinitis pigmentosa (XLRP) to investigate the disease-causing genes, and develop innovative therapies as an extension of our ongoing global study.
Length:
30-45 minutes
You may qualify if you:
- Have been diagnosed with X-linked retinitis pigmentosa (XLRP)
- Have had a full genetic test completed
- Are 18-85 years of age
- Live in the United States
You and/or may not qualify if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have a known history of HIV, hepatitis or other infectious diseases
- Experienced excess blood loss including blood donation defined as 250 mL in the last month or 500 mL in the last two months
