Prospective Collection of Whole Blood from Healthy Subjects and Those Diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis

Purpose:
Visterra is analyzing whole blood from subjects with AIH and healthy patients for comparison. This will help scientists to more deeply understand the disease and support additional clinical research and treatment efforts.
Length:
30-45 minutes
You may qualify if you:
- Are between the ages of 18-60
- Have been diagnosed with Type I or Type II AIH for less than 3 years
- Live in United States
You may not qualify if you:
- Has uncontrolled medical conditions or significant health issues other than AIH
- Are pregnant
- Have a known history of HIV, hepatitis or other infectious diseases
- Experienced excess blood loss including blood donation defined as 250 mL in the last month or 500 mL in the last two months
- Have a Childs-Pugh score of B or higher
- Currently taking > 10mg of prednisone or > 3mg of budesonide
